Global thought leader, sustainability visionary, and influential entrepreneur, renowned for his work and ideas on futural circular economy and climate-adaptive urban solutions. He knows almost everything about water, for his journey began navigating with cargo ships on the Rhine, in Europe and later he built ships with his family’s business, overseeing the construction of containerships, which were ready built from casco in only four months. He is coming with the concept of Seventh, a sustainable climate adaptable floating island, the place for inviting world leaders, work on global challenges and introduce big changes to the world. What brought him here?

As the founder of BRIDGES2000, he was the bridge builder. Personally he is a connector, he brings parties together and makes things happen. He dared and after dreaming 40 nights in a lucid way and understanding he received the biggest assignment men can be given, he started Seventh Project Development in The Netherlands and some years later among other started in Dubai Seventh Project Management Worldwide, to bring all partners together for this project.

Hendrik is the Dutchman who never sleeps. Next to bridges and the solutions he gives in his writing, he does all needed to make Seventh happening. Seventh as facility and as the real goal realizing The Other Way of Living, elevating quality of life on Earth.
